Elliot Circuit 2022
Elliot Circuit 2022 was organised by Elliot Camera Club, an emerging photography club in India in accordance with the requirements and practices of the Photographic Society of America (PSA). This international level photography competition cum exhibition came up with a completely digital format as per the latest norms and guidelines of PSA. The circuit was based on four sections: Open Color (PSA, PID Color), Open Monochrome (PSA, PID Monochrome), Nature (PSA, ND), & Photo Travel (PSA, PTD). Each section offers 7 distinguished awards: 1 PSA Gold, 3 Honourable Mentions, and 3 Judges’ Choice. Apart from this, there is 1 Best Club Award for the entrant clubs. Pixel Clash, A Photography Salon Software, managed and hosted this salon digitally.
Elliot Circuit 2022 closed the submission of entries on 23 February 2022. The judging of all the salons and sections were completed between 8 March 2022 to 14 March 2022. The notification of awards and acceptances was sent via website and mail to the entrants on 28 March 2022. The awards will be delivered to the winners by 30 May 2022 and the online gallery will be open to all on 25 April 2022.
The Circuit was divided into four salons with different judges’ panels. In the Earth Salon, the judges were Subrata Bysack, APSA, GMPSA/P, EFIAP/p, Tuhin Kanti Das, MPSA, EFIAP (India), and Dr. Debdas Bhunia, EFIAP, MFIP (N) (India). The judging panel of the Air Salon was featured by Dr. Peter Teuschel, MPSA, LRPS, GPU VIP2 (Germany), Gunther Riehle, APSA, GMPSA/P (Germany), and Herdis Halvas-Nielsen, MPSA, GPU CR4 (Germany). In the Water Salon, the judges were Nan Carder, FPSA, GMPSA, EFIAP (USA), Margaret Boike, APSA, MPSA (USA), and James D Smith, MPSA, GPU CR3 (USA). The judging panel of the Fire Salon included Graeme D Watson, MPSA2 (Australia), Elizabeth Passuello, EPSA, EFIAP (New Zealand), and Pia Jessen, EFIAP/g (Australia).

Judging 1
In the Open Monochrome (PIDM) section, the PSA Gold medal is awarded to Indonesian photographer Ajar Setiadi for the photograph UNFRIEND WIND. In the Open Color (PIDC) section, Australian photographer Yongxiong Ling has been awarded the PSA Gold medal for the photograph HORSE FIGHTING 6. In the Nature (ND) section, Baoting Chen (USA) wins the PSA Gold medal for the photograph MOTHER AND CUB. In the Photo Travel (PTD) section, Jin Fan (USA) has been awarded the PSA Gold medal for the photograph BLUE HOUR OF HARDSON YARD.

In the Open Monochrome (PIDM) section, Lee Eng Tan wins the PSA Gold medal for the photograph FUTURISTIC 10. In the Open Colour (PIDC) section, Baoting Chen (USA) wins the PSA Gold medal for the photograph PENGUIN COLONY. In the Nature (ND) section, the PSA Gold is awarded to Fabio Dornelles (Brazil) for the photograph IGUASSU FALLS. In the Photo Travel (PTD) section, Chiong Soon Tiong (Malaysia) wins the PSA Gold medal for the photograph SUMBA SUNRISE 07.

In the Open Monochrome (PIDM) section, the PSA Gold medal is awarded to Spanish photographer Juan Antonio Unzurrunzaga Posada for the photograph GUGEMM. In the Open Color (PIDC) section, the PSA Gold medal winner is Hung Ho (USA) for the photograph SLEEPY HOLLOW FARM 3. In the Nature (ND) section, the PSA Gold medal is once again won by Baoting Chen (USA) for the photograph MOTHER AND CUB. In the Photo Travel (PTD) section, the PSA Gold medal is won by Lai Wan Angela Choo (Singapore) for the photograph JEWEL AIRPORT.

In the Open Monochrome (PIDM) section, the PSA Gold medal-winning photograph is DESPAIR by Hans Ertzeid Mathisen (Norway). In the Open Colour (PIDC) section, the PSA Gold medal is awarded to Indonesian photographer Ajar Satiadi for the photograph FIRE WOMAN. In the Nature (ND) section, the PSA Gold medal is awarded to Baoting Chen (USA) for the photograph WISH TO FLY. In the Photo Travel (PTD) section, the PSA Gold medal goes to Canadian photographer Francis King for the photograph HERE COMES THE GOD OF FORTUNE.
