RGB 2020 International Salon of Photography

RGB 2020 International Salon of Photography is an international level photography competition and exhibition for the dedicated photographers. This salon is organized by AvTvISO (2020/3) and affiliated by global photography organizations like Photography Society of America (PSA 2020-410), Global Photographic Union (L2001125), SiLLE SANAT SARAYI (2020-011), and The Image Colleague Society (2020-129). This salon is hosted digitally by Pixel Clash, a Photography Salon Software.

AvTvISO is owned and managed by THREEDOTS Group and is a joint venture between THREEDOTS Group and a group of photographers as a profit making initiative for the photographers. AvTvISO offers dedicated photographers option to run their own projects through using AvTvISO’s own resources so that the photographers can earn money out of their projects. AvTvISO’s initiatives help photographers to organize photography exhibitions, selling their own photographs, publishing magazines, running photography based educational projects, making collaborations with other photography clubs, creating photography based contents for blogs and websites etc. RGB 2020 International Salon of Photography is an initiative by AvTvISO in association with several global photography giants for connecting contemporary thoughts of photographers across the world.

RGB 2020 International Salon of Photography has four sections namely Colour, Monochrome, Nature, and Travel. The salon closes their entries on 7th December 2020. The judgment of all the sections are done on 12th & 13th December 2020 and the result is published on 27th December 2020. EDAS will be prepared on 12th January 2021 and Award & Catalogue will be distributed on 23rd February 2021. Exhibition will take place on 20th & 21st March 2021 at Dhakshina Art Gallery, Sholinganallur, Chennai.

RGB 2020 International Salon of Photography engages renowned photographers from India and abroad for judging of all the sections. In the Colour section, PSA Gold award is received by Yuk Fung Garius Hung from Hong Kong for the image Bena Football. GPU Gold award in this section is won by Ching Ching Chan from Hong Kong for the image A Tribal Woman Nursing. SSS Gold award in the Colour section is received by Tomasz Okoniewski from Poland for the image Come Out In The Wash. ICS Gold is won by Anirban Banerjee from India for the image Man And Machine.

In the Monochrome section, PSA Gold award is won by Yuk Fung Garius Hung from Hong Kong for the image Big Leap. GPU Gold is received in this section by Anirban Banerjee India The Begining Of Life. SSS Gold award in this section is won by Ching Ching Chan from Hong Kong for the image The Goat Lady. ICS Gold award in this section is received by Edwin Setiabudi from Indonesia for the image Available Light.

In the Nature section, PSA Gold award is won by Tom Richardson from England for the image Elephants At The Waterhole, and GPU Gold award is won by Koichi Sato from Japan for the image Breeding Forest Green Frog. SSS Gold in this section is received by Sheila Verghis from India for the image Nature Call. ICS Gold award in this section is won by Sudhir Gaikwad from India for the image Demand For Food.

In the Travel section, PSA Gold award is received by Prateek Agarwal from India for the image Rhino Watching In Pobitora 1. GPU Gold award in this section is handed over to Saurabh Sirohiya of India for the image Splash Of Colour. SSS Gold award is won by Wenjie Luo from China for the image A Fishing Village On The Rocks, and ICS Gold award is won by Ching Ching Chan from Hong Kong for the image Ice Cave Adventure.

I have used this software while judging Saints in Need salon in July 2020. Its one of the most user friendly software, I have used in Indian salons. This software has flexbility of thumbnails with marks, provision of ranking, changing marks is smooth and with memory stored, a very well thought of algorithm, which surely helps a judge to do full justice and gives enough freedom. As the Saints in Need is a charitable salon , Sri Raju Sutradhar provided entire software support free of cost. My heart felt thanks to him and his team for this benevolent work. It is my first judging experience with Pixel Clash software and off course the experience is awesome. It is fast and enriched with features which are mostly required by a jury member. Uploading, payment updates and judging are completely hassel free. No problem reported so far. After completing the marking juror can see the thumbnails with given marks which is a much required feature in my opinion. Mr. Sutradhar is very courteous and always ready to extend the support regarding software. I highly recommend Pixel Clash software for salon/circuit management.( Disclaimer: I am in no way related to Pixel Clash or with Mr. Raju Sutradhar neither I have any interest with it. )

The software used for Online judging in Saints in Need 2020 by Pixel Clash was an excellent one. It was so smooth and fast, without any problem. The second round was even more enjoyable with a particular facility called 'Review marks with thumbnail' through which it was possible to review the images in the order of scores given by me, and also providing a scope of modification at that stage. The overall judging experience using this software was highly enjoyable.
