Visual Arts Exhibition 2022
Visual Arts Exhibition 2022 is an international photography circuit recognized by the Photographic Society of America (PSA Recognition no: 2022-185). After a huge response from photography lovers across the world in the Visual Arts Exhibition 2021, the exhibition in 2022 opened its entries for photography lovers. The closing date of this photography circuit was 15th March 2022 and the judging of all the sections and salons was done between 15 March 2022 to 22 March 2022. The notification of awards and acceptances was sent via website and mail on 16 April 2022. The online gallery of the awarded photograph will be open for the audience on 1 June 2022. This digital photography exhibition cum contest has been manned and managed by Pixel Clash, a Photography Salon Software.
Visual Arts Exhibition 2022 is based on 5 sections and 5 judgings. 5 PSA-approved sections in this circuit are Open Monochrome (PIDM), Open Color (PIDC), Nature (ND), Photo Travel (PTD), and Photo Journalism (PJD). A panel of noted photography experts monitored all the five judgings under five different clubs. In Judging 1 (PAK Club), the judges were Mr. Subrata Bysack (GMPSA/P), Mr. Mainak Dey (PPSA,GPU CR2), and Sankari Roy (EFIAP). In Judging 2 (A.O.V Club), Mr. Suman Bhattacharya (MPSA,EFIAP,ARPS), Mr. Manasi Roy (MPSA, EFIAP), and Mr. Swapan Mukherjee (EFIAP) played the roles of judges. In the Judging 3 (M.A.P Club), the judging panel was featured by Mr. Sudip Roy Chowdhury (EFIAP), Piyali Mitra (GMPSA, EFIAP ), and Mr. Santosh Kr. Jana (EFIAP). In Judging 4 (Depth of Field) the judges were, Mr. Basudeb Chakraborty (EFIAP,MPSA,F.FIP), Dr. B. K. Sinha (MFIAP), and Dr. Debdas Bhunia (EFIAP). In Judging 5, (Photogenic), Mr. Partha S. Sarkar (EFIAP), Mr. Sujit Sarkar (EFIAP), and Mr. Aninda Biswas (AFIAP) were the judges.
Awards and Acceptances in the Visual Arts 2022
Visual Arts Exhibition 2022 offers 5 awards in each section of each judging. The awards are 1 PSA Gold, 1 Visual Art Gold, 1 Visual Art Silver, 1 Visual Art Bronze, and 1 Chairman Choice Medal. The rate of acceptance in all sections is between 33% – 35%. The acceptance list of Visual Arts Circuit 2022 includes photographs from the countries like Australia, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Cyprus, Denmark, England, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine, and USA.
The PSA Gold award-winning photographs in the Open Monochrome section in different judgings are The Big Picture by Peter Gedeon (USA), Lifted Up by Rawisyah Aditya (Indonesia), and Homage to M Ray_No2 by Peter Gedeon (USA). The Visual Art Gold award-winning photograph in different judgings in this section are Family by Salam Lincoln, Mother and Daughter by Jan Thomas Stake (Sweden), Il Velo by Maria Teresa Carniti, Lifted Up by Rawisyah Aditya (Indonesia), and To Emote by Alexander Hochhaus (Germany).
The PSA Gold Medal-winning photographs in the Open Colour section in different judgings are Il falco by Maria Teresa Carniti, Family Portrait 77 by Peter Gedeon (USA), Passion by Alexander Hochhaus (Germany), Listen to Me by Rawisyah Aditya (Indonesia), and Attracted by Ching Ching Chan (Hong Kong). This section’s Visual Gold award-winning photographs in different judgings are Family Portrait 77 by Peter Gedeon (USA), Queen for a Day by Kim Houston (Australia), Leisure Time by Pranab Sarkar (India), Attracted by Ching Ching Chan (Hong Kong), and Perplexing by Shiu Gun Wong (Hong Kong).
In the Nature section of all the five judgings, PSA Gold medals have been awarded to Warm Heart by Baoting Chen (USA), Caught by Baoting Chen (USA), Mother and Cub by Baoting Chen (USA), and GD by Patrick w. Siu (Canada). This section’s Virtual Gold medals are awarded to Purple Heron with Catch by Tapas Baral (India), Gentoo Penguin Diving by Ajit Huilgol (India), Down to the Bone by George Terry (England), Wish To Fly by Baoting Chen (USA), and Down to the Bone by Terry George (England).
The PSA Gold award-winning photographs in the Photo Travel section in the 5 judgings of this circuit are China Nanpu Bridge by Ren Zhicai (China), Amboseli Elephants Crossing by Ajit Huilgol (India) & Playful Cubs of Mataram by Gautam Chakraborty (India). The Visual Art Gold medal-winning photographs of this section are Night travel by Peter Teuschel (Germany), Baron by Maity Basudev (India), Camping by Ivana Sancandi (Italy), China Nanpu Bridge by Ren Zhicai (China), and Baron 1 by Maity Basudev (India).
In the Photo Journalism section, the PSA Gold medal winners are Ward Conaway’s (USA) Quick Take Down, Oleg Kutskiy’s (Ukraine) Метель в Одессе, and Faisal Alloughani’s (Kuwait) Tiptop. The Visual Art Gold award-winning photographs in this section in all 5 judgings are Oleg Kutskiy’s (Ukraine) Метель в Одессе, Steven Stavri’s (Cyprus) Collapsed, Oleg Kutskiy’s (Ukraine) The tragedy in Ukraine1, Faisal Alloughani’s (Kuwait) Tiptop, and Helen Warnod’s (Australia) Ogoh Ogoh Parade.
