Serendipity Photo Award 2021 Sri Lanka
Serendipity Photo Award 2021 Sri Lanka is an international level photography event and award program organised by Sri Lanka based photography club Serendib Society of Photographers. Serendib Society of Photographers is aimed at appreciating and recognising the emerging talents of photographers who seek to explore cultural diversity, nature, art, architecture, festival, cuisine etc into the art of photography. Pandula Bandara, the founding Managing Director of the society, is a dedicated talent in different genres of photography promoting and supporting the photographic talents of Sri Lanka and beyond. Serendipity Photo Award 2021 Sri Lanka is recognised by PSA (2021-1181), GPU (L210079), FIP (2021/004), MOL (2021/59), PSSL (2021-001), SSP (2021-S003), and CAPS (2021-002). This photography event is powered by Pixel Clash, a Photography Salon Software.
Serendipity Photo Award 2021 is based on four sections, and they are OPEN COLOR (PID), OPEN MONOCHROME (PID), NATURE (ND), and PHOTO TRAVEL (PTD). The salon closes the submission of entries on 27 March 2021. Judging of all the sections is conducted from 8 April 2021 to 17 April 2021. Notification of awards and acceptances is sent over web and mail on 3 May 2021. Online gallery will be live 17 May 2021. EDAs report of this salon will be submitted to PSA on 19 May 2021. Catalogue and Awards will be sent from 5 July 2021.
The single jury panel for all the PIDC and PIDM sections is featured by Barbara Schmidt MPSA (Germany), Reha Bilir EFIAP/B, EPSA (Turkey), and Sanka Sammana Perera EFIAP, GPU CR-2, GPU Aphrodite, LPSS (Sri Lanka). The judges featuring the jury panel of ND and PTD sections are Tse Kwok Kei Daniel GMPSA (Hong Kong), Sona Beniwal EFIAP,FFIP, Hon.ESFIP (India), and Athula Ranaraja FNPAS, Hon.FNPAS, AISLP (Sri Lanka).

In the Open Colour section, Wendy Deng (Australia) wins both the PSA Gold and GPU Gold awards for the photographs WOKS and COOKING respectively. Ching Ching Chan bags both the FIP Gold and CAPS Gold awards for the photographs MY DAILY WORK and MY DAILY WORK respectively. Sitanath Paul (India) wins MOL Gold award for the photograph SKULL. Yiu Wah Wong (Hong Kong) wins PSSL Gold for the photograph RED BALLET 383 and Than Sint (Singapore) wins SSP Gold award for the photograph COLORFUL WORK 3.
Nature
In the Nature section, Bruno Scheibel (France) wins PSA Gold award for the photograph MEDUSE. Sudheendra KP (India) wins GPU Gold for the photograph LION WITH ZEEBRA KILL. Dre Van Mensel (Belgium) wins FIP Gold for the photograph EATING A BUTTERFLY. Im Kai Leong (Macau) wins MOL Gold for the photograph FEED 3. Sherman Cheang (Macau) wins PSSL Gold for the photograph KEEP WARM Hong Wai Victor Cheng (Hong Kong) wins CAPS Gold for the photograph NAMCHEONG EGRET 10. Sathyanarayana C.R.(India) wins SSP Gold in this section for the photograph ATTACKING CHEETAHS.
Photo Travel
In the Photo Travel section, Anitha Mysore (India) wins both the PSA Gold and PSSL Gold awards for the photographs FLOWER_SHOWER and VATICAN CITY respectively. Jiangchuan Tong (China) wins GPU Gold for the photograph LOUIS LAKE. Thinh Nguyen (USA) wins FIP Gold for the photograph MACHU PICCHU. Phillip Kwan (Canada) wins MOL Gold for the photograph WALKING UP IN SNOW. Ashok Kumar (India) wins CAPS Gold for the photograph BAHUBALI MASTAKABHISHEKAM. Hung Tsui (Hong Kong) wins SSP Gold for the photograph WONDERFUL WILDERNESS.
Ching Ching Chan (Hong Kong) wins the Best Author Trophy in Serendipity Photo Award 2021 Sri Lanka.
