Artists and Lens 1st National Salon 2021 Digital

Artists and Lens 1st National Salon 2021 Digital marks the celebration of the art of photography in virtual platform. This national level salon is recognised by Federation of Indian Photography (2020/FIP/325/2021) and powered by Pixel Clash, a Photography Salon Software. The photography salon welcomes entries in five sections namely Monochrome Open, Colour Open, Nature, Photo Travel, and Photo Journalism.

The extended date of the submission of entries closes on 19 February 2021. Judging of all the sections take place 21 February 2021 and the notification over web and mail is done on 28 February 2021. The exhibition of accepted images is going to take place from 17 April to 18 April 2021. Awards and PDF catalogues will be despatched on 20 April 2021.

Jury Members

Artists and Lens 1st National Salon 2021 Digital engages maestros of world photography in the jury panel. All the sections of the salon are judged by Mr. SUBHADIP BOSE, AFIAP, AFIP Dip.In.Photography (PAD), Mr. KRISHNANDU SARKAR, AFIAP, AFIP, CMOL, AAPG, AHPS, Hon. APF, Hon. FGNG, Hon. PESGSPC, GPA. Monochrome Open

In the Open Monochrome section, 24.39% of the total images are accepted by the jury members. The FIP GOLD award in this section is conferred to BUDDHADEB ADHIKARY for the photo titled SMILE OF A CHILD. Nine A and L Gold awards recipient photos in this section are RANAJABEEN NAWAB’S FAST-PACED-DUBAI, DEBAJYOTI SARKAR’S THE PAIN HEALER, ANIRBAN ASH’S PRAYER CAN CHANGE SITUATION, H S BYAKOD’S DEVOTIONAL SALUTE, ANIL KUMAR DESHPANDE’S PREPARING, ASIM KUMAR CHAUDHURI’S EXPERIMENT REFLECTS IN SOUL, MAINAK DEY’S SOLEMNITY, VASUDEV H MASARAKALL’S MOTHER SOLICITUDE, and SANTOSH BADE’S HEAD2HEAD_4IMAGES_4.

Colour Open

In the Open Colour section, the acceptance rate is 24.39%. In this section, the FIP GOLD award is received by RANAJABEEN NAWAB for the photo PUSHKAR-LIGHT-AND-ART. Nature

Nature section secures an overall 23.26% acceptance rate. The FIP GOLD award in this section is received by CHITRA JOSHI for the photo MASTI. Photo Travel

In the Photo Travel section, the acceptance rate is 24.26%. RANAJABEEN NAWAB’s photo GLITTERING-MARINA wins the FIP GOLD Award in this section. In the Photo Journalism section, the acceptance rate is 24.27%. ANIRBAN ASH’S LIFE NEVER STOPS wins the FIP GOLD award in this section.
