Celebration International Circuit 2022
Celebration International Circuit 2022 (PSA Recognition no: 2022-71) celebrated the grandeur of photography connecting the professional as well as amateur photographers of different genres across the globe. This international level photography circuit was based on four PSA approved sections namely Open Monochrome (PIDM), Open Colour (PIDC), Nature (ND), and Photo Travel (PTD). The exhibition strictly adhered to the latest norms and standards of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) for the submission, judgement, awards, and acceptances of the photographs. The circuit has been manned and managed by Pixel Clash, a Photography Salon Software.
The total number of awards in Celebration International Circuit 2022 was 144 including 1 PSA Gold medal, 1 Celebration Gold Medal, 1 Celebration Silver Medal, 1 Celebration Bronze Medal, and 5 e-Honourable Mention in each section. The circuit closed the submission of entries on 16th January 2022 and the judging was completed by 5 February 2022. Notifications of awards and acceptances were sent by 16th February 2022. EDAS Report is to be prepared and sent to the PSA by 7 March 2022. Awards are to be mailed by 23 April 2022. On-Line Gallery of the accepted photographs is scheduled for 23rd April 2022. The catalogue is to be posted by 23rd April 2022.
The jury panel of Celebration International Circuit 2022 is featured by renowned photography artists from different genres. In Judging 1, the judges were Dr. Debdas Bhunia (EFIAP), Mr. Suman Bhattacharyya (MPSA, EFIAP/b), and Mr. S R Mandal (EFIAP). The Judging 2, the judges featuring panel were Mr. Subrata Bysack (GMPSA/p, EFIAP/p), Mr. Swapan Mukherjee (EFIAP), and Mr. Amitabha Sil (EPSA, EFIAP). In Judging 3, the judges were Mr. Partha Sarathi Sarkar (EFIAP), Mr. Rajdeep Biswas (GMPSA, EFIAP), and Mr. Tuhinkanti Das (MPSA, EFIAP). The panel of Judging 4 was featured by Mr. Saibal Mondal (MPSA, EFIAP), Mr. Asim Kumar Chaudhuri (MPSA, EFIAP), and Mr. Basudeb Chakraborty (MPSA, EFIAP).
Result of Celebration International Circuit 2022
In Judging 1, TAM MING’s (Hong Kong) photograph DRESSAGE won the PSA Gold medal in the Open Monochrome section. KATIE MAK (Canada) won Celebration Gold Medal in this section for the photograph HORSES IN WATER 56. In the Open Colour section, JIANGUO BAI’s (China) photograph LIFE IN GRASSLAND 6 won PSA Gold medal and AMITABHA SIL’s (India) THE ECSTASY OF LIFE received the Celebration Gold Medal. In the Nature section, the PSA Gold Medal and the Celebration Gold Medal were bagged by HARVEY ROGERS (Canada), and AMITABHA SIL India for their photographs A GROUP CONVERSATION and ATTACK 6 respectively. In the Photo Travel section, the PSA Gold medal winner is MALAY KUMAR DAS (India) for the photograph HOGWARTS EXPRESS. The Celebration Gold Medal winner in this section is RAHIl KHAN’s (India) photograph MONUMENT VALLEY WITH DIFFERENT VIEW.
In Judging 2,JAN-THOMAS STAKE (Sweden) won PSA Gold medal in the Open Monochrome section for the photograph SMOKE 0395, and TAM MING (Hong Kong) won Celebration Gold Medal for DRESSAGE. In the Open Colour section, SHIU GUN WONG (Hong Kong) won PSA Gold medal for the photograph AVA. MARCEL BEAURAIND (Belgium) won Celebration Gold Medal for the photograph JUSQU AUX BOUTS DES REVES. In the Nature section, DRE VAN MENSEL (Belgium) won PSA Gold medal for the photograph VLAAMSE GAAI MET MUIS and KATIE MAK (Canada) won Celebration Gold Medal for WASHING TERN 77. In the Photo Travel section, MALAY KUMAR DAS (India) received PSA Gold medal for the photograph HOGWARTS EXPRESS and PARTHA PRATIM JANA (India) received Celebration Gold Medal for the photograph DHANKAR MONASTERY.
In the Open Monochrome section of Judging 3, MARCIA MARCHETTO (Brazil) received PSA Gold medal for the photograph IN THE DARK and JAN-THOMAS STAKE (Sweden) received Celebration Gold Medal for the photograph SMOKE 0395. In the Open Colour section, HUY SON NGUYEN (Vietnam) received PSA Gold medal for MAKING SOY SAUCES, and HARVEY ROGERS (Canada) received Celebration Gold medal for EDWARD THE BUTLER. In the Nature section, AJIT HUILGOL (India) won PSA Gold medal for the photograph LION CUBS PLAYING WITH MALE and KATIE MAK (Canada) won Celebration Gold Medal for WASHING TERN 77. In the Photo Travel section, TAPAS BHOWMICK (India) won PSA Gold medal for BARAN TWO, and EDWARD WONG (Hong Kong) won the Celebration Gold medal for SLOVENIA219.
In Judging 4, JAN-THOMAS STAKE (Sweden) won PSA Gold medal in the Open Monochrome section for the photograph MOTHER AND DAUGHTER. JEF LEMMENS (Belgium) won Celebration Gold Medal for the photograph ARROWS. In the Open Colour section, HARVEY ROGERS (Canada) won PSA Gold for MUSIC FLOWS THROUGH BOTH, and JAN-THOMAS STAKE (Sweden) won Celebration Gold Medal for JENNY AND VIOLIN. In the Nature section, MIN LI (China) won PSA Gold medal for the photograph HUNTING MOMENT 13, and AJIT HUILGOL (India) won Celebration Gold Medal for the photograph CHEETAH TUG OF WAR. In the Photo Travel section, BALACHANDDER SK (India) won PSA Gold medal for ACHARYAS BLESSINGS 4, and MIN LI (China) won Celebration Gold Medal for the photograph HOLLYLAND IN MY HEART 7.
