Hexagon International Digital Circuit 2020

Hexagon International Digital Circuit 2020 is organized by Prism Camera Club (BAGHAJATIN) in association with Badya Para Camera Club [GARFA], Global Photographic Society [Thakurpukur], Fotographic Society of Habra [Habra], Amtala Camera Club [Amtala], and Chitralekha Photo Club [Behala]. The photography contest is organized in a fully digital format through Pixel Clash, a Photography Salon Software. The circuit closes its entries on 19th October 2020 followed by the judgment on 6th November 2020. Notification over web and mail takes place on 20th November 2020. The exhibition is scheduled for 18th – 20th January 2020. The exhibition will take place at Avishar Art Gallery (4-7 PM). Catalogue and awards are scheduled for despatch in the middle of January.

Judgment 1 is conducted by Prism Camera Club (Baghajatin). SUBRATA BYSACK – GMPSA/B, EFIAP/S, GAIUP, GPU CR5, FFIP, SEPSS, DR. DEBDAS BHUNIA– EFIAP, and MRINAL BASU – EFIAP judge the entries of all sections in Judging 1. Judgment 2 is conducted by Badya Para Camera Club [Garfa]. PIYALI MITRA – EFIAP/b, EPSA, EFIP, and BASU DEB AICH – EFIAP, and KALYAN BHATTACHARYA – EFIAP judge the entries of all sections here. Global Photographic Society [Thakurpukur] conducts Judging 3 in this circuit. CHINMOY DUTTA – EFIAP/b, EPSA, EIUP, AICS, FFIP, Hon.PESGSPC, SUSANTA BURMAN– EFIAP, and SIDDHARTHA RANJAN DEB – EFIAP, EFIP manage judgment of all the sections here. Judging 4 is conducted by Fotographic Society of Habra [Habra]. The judgment is done by AMITABHA SIL – EFIAP,EPSA, Hon.FICS, GPA.PESGSPC, PINKU DEY – EFIAP/b, HonFICS, AFIP, HonPESGSPC, ESoF, Hon.FTPAS, and SOHAM SARKAR -EFIAP, FFIP. Judging 5 is conducted by Amtala Camera Club [Amtala] and judged by SHARMALI DAS – EFIAP/gold, MPSA, GPU Crown 3, GPA PESGSPC, Hon. PESGSPC, FFIP, PARTHA SARATHI SARKAR– EFIAP, and CHHANDA PAUL – EFIAP, AFIP. Judgment 6 is conducted by Chitralekha Photo Club [Behala]. DR. MANAB KUMAR SANTRA– EFIAP, PPSA, EFIP, PRABIR KUMAR ROY– EFIAP, ARPS, FFIP, and UDIP ROY CHOWDHURY – EFIAP, Hon.FICS, FFIP, GPA.PESGSPC feature the judgment of all the sections here.

I have used this software while judging Saints in Need salon in July 2020. Its one of the most user friendly software, I have used in Indian salons. This software has flexbility of thumbnails with marks, provision of ranking, changing marks is smooth and with memory stored, a very well thought of algorithm, which surely helps a judge to do full justice and gives enough freedom. As the Saints in Need is a charitable salon , Sri Raju Sutradhar provided entire software support free of cost. My heart felt thanks to him and his team for this benevolent work. It is my first judging experience with Pixel Clash software and off course the experience is awesome. It is fast and enriched with features which are mostly required by a jury member. Uploading, payment updates and judging are completely hassel free. No problem reported so far. After completing the marking juror can see the thumbnails with given marks which is a much required feature in my opinion. Mr. Sutradhar is very courteous and always ready to extend the support regarding software. I highly recommend Pixel Clash software for salon/circuit management.( Disclaimer: I am in no way related to Pixel Clash or with Mr. Raju Sutradhar neither I have any interest with it. )

The software used for Online judging in Saints in Need 2020 by Pixel Clash was an excellent one. It was so smooth and fast, without any problem. The second round was even more enjoyable with a particular facility called 'Review marks with thumbnail' through which it was possible to review the images in the order of scores given by me, and also providing a scope of modification at that stage. The overall judging experience using this software was highly enjoyable.
