LensPic 2022

This season of Spring appears to be more vibrant and lively when so many photography artists from all across the globe present their outstanding works in LensPic 2022, an international photography circuit. LensPic 2022 is a PSA recognised photography competition cum exhibition organised by Seen Shot Society, an Indian photography club of reputation and excellence. This international circuit adheres to the definitions and norms of the Photographic Society of America (PSA recognition no: 2022 – 06) for receiving entries, judgings, and awarding photographs. LensPic 2022 is digitally hosted by Pixel Clash, a Photography Salon Software.

LensPic 2022 is based on PSA approved 5 sections namely Open Colour (Colour or Monochrome), Open Monochrome (Monochrome), Nature (Colour or Monochrome), Photo Travel (Colour or Monochrome), Photo Journalism (Colour or Monochrome). The circuit closes the submission of entries on 28th February 2022. All the judgings are completed by 20th March 2022. Notifications of awards and acceptances are sent via web and email by 3rd April 2022. EDAS Submission to the PSA is scheduled for the 19th of April 2022. The On-Line Gallery of the awarded photographs will be posted by 10th May 2022. PDF. Catalogue & awards will be sent by 5th June 2022.

Jury Panel of LensPic 2022

There are four separate judging panels in LensPic 2022 comprising talented photography experts from across the world. The first judging panel includes Santiram Mondal (India) EFIAP, Achinta Kumar Saha (India) GMPSA, EFIAP/P, FFIP, GPU Crown4, Satyajit Majumdar (India) EFIAP, AFIAP, Suman Bhattacharyya (India) MPSA, EFIAP/b, ARPS (Lapsed) Valentina Sokolskaya (USA) APSA, EPSA, EFIAP, GPU CR2, and James D Smith (USA) APSA, MPSA2, GPU CR3. The second judging is conducted by Saswata Chandra (India) EFIAP, QPSA, Naima Parveen (Bangladesh) AFIAP, Md. Ibrahim (Bangladesh) AFIAP, Subrata Bysack (India) GMPSA/p, EFIAP/s, VIP5, and Sylvester Wong (Malaysia) EPSA, ARPS, and Yeokkian Jenn Koh (Malaysia ) MPSA, GPU CR-2.

In the third Judging panel, the judges are Akash Ghosh (India) AFIAP, Soumesh Roy(India) EFIAP, EPSA, Abhijeet Kumar Banerjee (India) EFIAP, EPSA, EFIP Gold (N), GPU CR-3, GPU Hermes, Dr. Teodor Radu Pantea (Romania) EFIAP/silver, EH.ISF, Adela Lia Rusu (Romania) EFIAP/g, EPSA, MAAFR, GPUCR2, and Razvan Baleanu (Romania) EPSA, BPSA, AFIAP, GPU CR2. The fourth judging panel of LensPic 2022 includes Buket Ozatay (Cyprus) EFIAP/d1, EPSA, Paul Reidy (Republic of Ireland) EFIAP, Ana Joveva (North Macedonia) QPSA, Taraknath Dey (Canada) GMPSA, EFIAP, Rowsan Akhter (USA) MPSA, BPSA, EFIAP/Gold, Mohammad Ali Salim (USA) APSA, GMPSA, GPSA, EFIAP/d2. In the fifth judging panel, the judges are Reha Billir (Turkey) ESFIAP, Hon.SSS, Reyhan Türk(Turkey) SSS/R, AFIAP, Nese Ari (Turkey) SSS/R, EFIAP, Asim Kumar Chaudhuri (India) MPSA, EFIAP, GPU Cr-2, Rajdeep Biswas (India) GMPSA, EFIAP, and Mr. Koshal Basu (India) EPSA, EFIAP

Awards in LensPic 2022

There are 406 high-quality awards in LensPic 2022. In each section, there are 1 PSA Gold, 1 Seen Shot Society Gold, 1 Seen Shot Society Silver, 1 Seen Shot Society Bronze, 3 Seen Shot Society HM, 3 Judge’s Choice, 1 Chairman’s Choice, and 5 Seen Shot Society Diploma Certificate. In each salon, the Best Author receives Sille Sanat Sarayı Gold Medal. There is a Special Award Plaque for the Best Club or Group of Circuit. All the awarded authors in this circuit receive a Digital Award Certificate, and all the authors having acceptance receive a Digital Acceptance Certificate from Seen Shot Society. Phillip Kawn (Canada) wins four consecutive Sille Sanat Sarayı Gold Medals as Best Author in Judging 1, Judging 2, Judging 4, and Judging 5. Faisal Alloughani (Kuwait) receives Sille Sanat Sarayı Gold Medal as the Best Author in Judging 3.

The PSA Gold Winners in Different Judgings and Sections are Phillip Kawn (Canada), Jay Hallsworth (England), Hung Tsui (Hong Kong), Jef Lemmens (Belgium), Udayan Sankar Pal (India), Katie Mak (Canada), Ajar Setiadi (Indonesia), Oleg Kutskiy (Ukraine), Faisal Alloughani (Kuwait), Diana Chan (Hong Kong), Boating Chen (USA), Gottfried Catania (Malta), Bob Chiu (USA), Hai Ngo (USA), and Ting Ming Law (Hong Kong).

I have used this software while judging Saints in Need salon in July 2020. Its one of the most user friendly software, I have used in Indian salons. This software has flexbility of thumbnails with marks, provision of ranking, changing marks is smooth and with memory stored, a very well thought of algorithm, which surely helps a judge to do full justice and gives enough freedom. As the Saints in Need is a charitable salon , Sri Raju Sutradhar provided entire software support free of cost. My heart felt thanks to him and his team for this benevolent work. It is my first judging experience with Pixel Clash software and off course the experience is awesome. It is fast and enriched with features which are mostly required by a jury member. Uploading, payment updates and judging are completely hassel free. No problem reported so far. After completing the marking juror can see the thumbnails with given marks which is a much required feature in my opinion. Mr. Sutradhar is very courteous and always ready to extend the support regarding software. I highly recommend Pixel Clash software for salon/circuit management.( Disclaimer: I am in no way related to Pixel Clash or with Mr. Raju Sutradhar neither I have any interest with it. )

The software used for Online judging in Saints in Need 2020 by Pixel Clash was an excellent one. It was so smooth and fast, without any problem. The second round was even more enjoyable with a particular facility called 'Review marks with thumbnail' through which it was possible to review the images in the order of scores given by me, and also providing a scope of modification at that stage. The overall judging experience using this software was highly enjoyable.
