1st Belpahari Digital National Salon, 2021
Belpahari Sri Ramkrishna Vivekananda Sevashrama organises 1st Belpahari Digital National Salon, 2021 for raising funds for philanthropic purposes. Belpahari Sri Ramkrishna Vivekananda Sevashrama is a social organisation that works towards uplifting the poor people in the backward areas, providing education and nutrition to the children of unprivileged and underprivileged families. Currently, there are 50 children under the direct supervision of Trust’s sevasrhama in Chirakuti village of Belpahari. These children receive educational assistance, books, stationaries, nutritious breakfast, mid-day meals, clothing, and all other materialistic and emotional support from the Trust to continue their education and career. This time the trust has organised a national-level photography event for fundraising purpose so that philanthropic work can continue during the pandemic situation. 1st Belpahari Digital National Salon, 2021 has been recognised by the Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) (Recognition ID: 2021/FIP/035/2021). The salon is manned and managed by Pixel Clash, a Photography Salon Software.
1st Belpahari Digital National Salon, 2021 closes the submission of entries on 16 May 2021 (Extended deadline due to the COVID outbreak). Jury meeting takes place between 21 May to 23 May 2021. The notification is sent over the web and mail on 30 May 2021. The exhibition of the accepted photograph will be scheduled in July 2021. Catalogues and awards will be distributed from 15 June 2021. SADS will be prepared and sent to FIP on 25 June 2021. The jury panel of 1st Belpahari Digital Salon, 2021 is featured by Mr. Barun Kumar Sinha, MFIAP, ESFIAP, ARPS, MFIP(N), Mr. Asim Kumar Bhattacharjee, EFIAP, FFIP, Hon-FIP, Mr. Achinta Kumar Saha, EFIAP/p, GMPSA, FFIP, Mr. Suman Saha, EFIAP/g, EFIP/g, and Mr. Saikat Roy, EFIAP, EFIP. The salon is based on five sections which are Open Monochrome (PIDM), Open Color (PIDC), Nature (ND), Photo Travel (PTD), and Theme : PEOPLE (PIDC).
The award list of each of the five sections of 1st Belpahari Digital National Salon includes 1 FIP Gold, 1 Club Gold, 1 Club Silver, 1 Club Bronze, 5 FIP Honorable Mention, 3 Judges Special Mentions Medal and 8 Club CM (Online PDF). Otherwise, there are the 1st Best Club Award, 2nd Best Club Award, and 3rd Best Club Award.

In the 1st Belpahari Digital National Salon, the 1st Best Club Award is received by YOUTH PHOTOGRAPHY SOCIETY. The 2nd Best Club Award goes to PLAAPA. The 3rd Best Club Award is bagged by LENS & LIFE OF DUM DUM. Notable awards in all five sections are the following:
In the Open Monochrome section, Amar Nath Dutta wins the FIP Gold medal for the photograph HELP ME. Sundar Gopalakrishnan wins the Club Gold award for the photograph BIKE RUNWAYR in the same section. In the Open Colour section, Prasenjit Das wins the FIP Gold award for the photograph MYSTERIOUS LADY, and Suranjit Banerjee wins the Club Gold award for the photograph DREAMING. In the Nature section, Ajit Huilgol receives the FIP Gold medal for the photograph TIGER CHARGES AT SAMBAR DEER. Udaya Thejaswi Urs wins the Club Gold award in the same section for the photograph MUNIYA WITH PEACOCK FEATHER.
In the Photo Travel section, Digwas Bellemane wins the FIP Gold award for the photograph THE PINACLE OF FAITH. This section’s Club Gold medal goes to Surya Prakash K S for the photograph TUSKER AT MT KILIMANJARO. In the Theme: People section, the FIP Gold award goes to the photograph NAGA MARTIAL ARTS from the lens of Narendra Kumar Pandey. This section’s Club Gold award is received by Atanu Das Mahapatra for the photograph TEA BREAK.
